Abstract: Previous research has found relationships between measures of creativity and the Big-Five Model of Personality, especially Openness to Experience. To partially examine the validity of a new self-report measure of creativity, 61 female college students were administered Saucier's (1994) Big-Five Mini-Markers and the Scale of Creative Attributes and Behavior (SCAB; K. Kelly, 2004). Similar to findings using other creativity measures, openness to experience was significantly, positively correlated with creativity. The results supported the validity of the SCAB as a measure of creativity.
