The Journal of International Scholarship (JIS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing evidence-based scholarship that advances cumulative knowledge across the sciences and applied disciplines. JIS welcomes high-quality research from researchers worldwide and provides a forum where methodological rigor, transparency, and scholarly contribution take precedence over disciplinary boundaries.

The journal publishes research that is grounded in systematic inquiry and supported by evidence. We welcome both exploratory and confirmatory investigations, provided conclusions are appropriately supported by the data and existing literature.

Open Access

JIS is a fully open-access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License and are freely available immediately upon publication. Articles are published on a rolling basis shortly after acceptance.

International Scholarship

JIS welcomes submissions from established scholars, early-career researchers, and interdisciplinary research teams worldwide. We particularly encourage contributions that strengthen international scholarly collaboration and promote the dissemination of high-quality evidence-based research across geographical and disciplinary boundaries.
